Philadelphia Trust was formed in 2018 to respond to the ever-changing faces of poverty affecting children, young persons, women, and their families. The drive to establish the trust emanated from the various personal and professional experiences of the members who discovered that poverty is the main barrier to achieve full potential for the targeted population. The members also firmly believe that there is no one way of dealing with poverty but there is need to explore various interventions which are designed for different people according to their situation and context. While the organisation does not claim to want to eradicate poverty, it aims to create a conducive environment where beneficiaries are able to lead fulfilling lives and reach their full potential.
